Online Profits In 30 Days - Your Blueprint - A lot of people want to start earning an income online but have no idea how to get started. The following is a one month blueprint that you can follow to make an actual profit by the end of your first month. This plan is designed to help you create both an immediate cashflow as well as building a powerful revenue stream that will keep on paying you months and even years down the line.
Starting Out - Get Into The Right Frame Of Mind
Day 1
What you're considering will involve a lot of work and thought. Before even thinking about what business to start take some time to think about why you're doing this. What is your motivation for success? What will keep you going when things aren't going exactly as planned? Take a walk at a local park for a stroll and think of what you want out of your part/full time business. Is it purely financial? Is it so that you have a second income? Are you fed up with your job and want to be your own boss? More time with the family? Write down your goals clearly and be as specific as possible. Include as much detail as you possibly can - try and evoke your emotions so that when you look back on it (at least once a week) it will act to motivate you. Remember that there will be times when you feel fear, frustration, hopelessness - that's ok - the important thing is to keep focusing and working hard. If you do this you will discover success in the end.
Wherever you wish to do this, find a nice quiet place and write down what you wish to achieve from your business and how much time you feel you can dedicate to it. Be realistic - if you have only 2 hours a day perhaps all you're looking for is an extra $500 or so a month. If you have much more time you can expect to earn something close to a good living from your efforts.
When you're all set buy a special business notepad and keep it with you always - you'll discover that often ideas will come at you in the most unlikely of places - in the shower, on the train, at work, playing football....anywhere. It's important to jot down your ideas as and when you get them for later review - you may think you'll remember it later but the chances are you'll lose them forever unless you write them down.

Day 2
Now here's where you're going to decide exactly how you're going to earn a living online. I am going to show you what has worked for me - which isn't to say it's the only thing that can work - it's just proven for me. For me there are 2 ways that I have used to make money online - first is Digital Product Creation. The internet has created millionaires out of people who simply wrote a good information product which filled a demand. Not a writer? You really don't have to be. You simply need to be able to get your ideas and knowledge over in an easy to understand and informative way. If you're convinced that making your own products isn't your thing then the second method is for you - Reselling Existing Digital Products For Commissions. This is the lazy mans way of making cash online. It's not easy but it does mean you do not have to spend time creating a product/website/adverts - it's all done for you and tested. The only thing you need to focus on is getting in customers and there are some very powerful ways of doing this online. Lets look at product creation first. We will then look at selling resale rights products in future days.
Info Product Creation
So what should you create an info product on? You need to do some research to find something to create your info product on. To help you decide consider the following:
Is there any subject that simply thrills you? You can't stop talking about it and you find yourself reading about it constantly. When there's a TV show on it you simply lap it up. It could be a hobby or something you have just developed over the years. Perhaps knowledge of something that has been handed down to you from your father. Simply put, anything you know a great deal about. If the answer is yes, chances are there are other people who feel equally strong about this topic as you do - and who will be prepared to pay to tap into your knowledge on this subject.
I always feel it's important to do something you would enjoy but it's also vital that a market really does exist for your chosen subject. For example "football" is a very popular subject and is an excellent potential market. However if your passion is studying the nesting habits of pigeons, you would be hard pressed to find enough interest to make creating an info product worthwhile. Think about what the right product is for you - everyone has in depth knowledge about a specific topic - what is this for you? Cooking? Films? Music? Golf? There are endless potential products for each of these topics and endless others.
Research the topic you have chosen - Visit a few search engines such as Google and Yahoo and type in some keywords and see what type of websites spring up. Are there many sites selling products on your chosen topic? Some competition is actually a good thing - it indicates that a market exists - you just want to ensure that you don't have too much competition (internet marketing is a good example of a field that has far too much competition to make it worthwhile for a newbie). Make a list of all the ezines, discussion lists, forums and websites that exist about your topic - take a look at the top 20 and try and get a feel for how they are making money. Are they selling a product? Are they earning cash via affiliate commissions? When researching use google as well as the following free tools and sites:

What you're trying to do here is come up with a niche idea and then understand that idea inside out. What products are being sold in the niche? Which products are hot? Which are considered inferior? Spend a whole day on researching your niche idea and more if you have to.
Spend an hour each day on top forums - You really can learn a great deal on the best internet forums and it will help give you ideas and learn from successful people. My two favourites are

(both are free). Start reading the conversations that are going on and determine which of the posters seem to be the Gurus. Don't feel you have to post anything just yet - right now you're more interested in learning all that you can. By the end of day 2 you should have a product idea that you feel will generate good interest.
Accepting Payment Online
Day 3
If you want an online business it's vital that you have the ability to handle credit card payments. If this sounds like a nightmare don't worry, there are many online payment processors who will handle the payment from your customers on your behalf - all you have to do is give them a small commission from your sales proceeds. If you've ever used eBay to buy or sell then you're probably already familiar with http://www.paypal.com - sign up for a free sellers account. Once this is done all that's left is to create the actual product. Another good payment processor is http://www.clickbank.com but they charge a $49 activation fee. If you find that your product generates good interest it may be worth signing up with them as you get an in-built affiliate program. But for now Paypal is just fine.
You're doing quite well so far - so far you've come up with an idea and have set-up your Paypal account. Read your goals again - this will really help create a positive mood as you're already a step closer toward reaching them.
Creating Your Info Product
Day 4 to 10
This is it. You're all ready to start creating your own info-product. More than likely, this will be in the form of a PDF eBook. Let's say that your eBook is called "Fright Night" and is a collection of 100 scary but true ghost stories.
You may think that writing a book like this would take a long time, but the truth is if you have the material in front of you you could with a bit of effort complete it within 6 days of solid writing and editing. The presentation of your book (including graphics) is very important and you have to make sure that:
1. You have some form of graphics included for your eBook cover. This is not particularly difficult. Creating Your Sales Page
Day 11 & 12
Not even 2 weeks gone and your eBook is fully written and you're ready to take payment. Have a read of your plan again - it may feel like slow going but you're almost at the stage where you'll start receiving payment for your book.
Today we're going to spend time putting together a great sales page. Sales copy is absolutely vital if your eBook is going to sell well so we're going to spend a lot of time getting it just right. Start looking at the points you made while writing your book and start putting together a sales page. Creating a good sales page does take some study and whole books have been written about it. After you have finished writing your sales copy read it out to yourself - does it sound fluent? Have you given the reader enough desire to want your book above any others? When you're writing your copy remember that you're selling benefits to the reader. What will the reader gain by purchasing your product.
Creating Your Website & Choosing A Domain Name
Day 13 & 14
Creating a website may sound like a nightmare if you have never done it before but it really isn't as difficult as you think. If you already have experience with creating websites you can use an application such as Frontpages to create your own site. Again, going into detailed website design is beyond the scope of our 30 day blueprint but a huge variety of resources are available to help you get started. Next, you'll want to register a domain name - I've used http://www.namecheap.com as their domain names tend to be cheaper than most. To find a range of recommended hosts do a search on google for "compare website host" and start comparing the different options available to you. It's also worth going to your internet forum (Blake) and ask for advice there - some users may know of a particularly good host that you can use. If you're on a serious budget it's also worth checking out all the http://directory.google.com/Top/Computers/Internet/Web_Design_and_Development/Hosting/Free/Directories/?il=1 available. Personally I would always go for a reputable paid host but it's good to know that there are places which will host your site for free.
By the end of day 14 you have a fully functioning website, your book is written and you're all ready to sell. It wont be long before orders start coming into your inbox :)
Marketing Your Website & Developing Your Ezine
Day 15 to 18
A lot of the hard work in terms of building the product and website has already been done - now we have to get our marketing right. This involves getting our website to as many interested people as possible and there are several different ways of doing this. Some are free, and others will require some investment.
First we're going to set-up an Ezine for our customers and potential customers. The first thing that's required is to get a way to capture email addresses of visitors who come to our website. Visit http://www.hotscripts.com for a number of free form capture scripts you can copy paste onto your website. This is actually a great site to get a whole variety of free items for your website. On your website offer a free newsletter which will deliver something of interest to your visitors every week. For our Ghost Story website this could be 3 new ghost stories sent in a newsletter every week. Over time many interested prospects will sign up to your newsletter and you'll develop your own list of newsletter subscribers - many of whom may buy from you in the future if they like what you have to offer. To have a newsletter you really require an autoresponder - there are a lot of paid services but we're going to use one of the best free ones I have ever seen ?http://freeautobot.com . Not only is this free but there are no random adverts sent with your message (only a small one line freeautobot message) and you can setup as many autoresponders and messages as you like. Remember the forums you discovered for your topic earlier? Now you're going to start going to the best ones and start spreading a little awareness of your product. It's important to understand that you should never ever spam or try and sell your products blatantly in forums. Contribute genuinely - this should be very easy since you have just written a book on the forum topics. Instead be as helpful as possible and give information freely - in our ghost story case we could release one or two stories into the forum and measure the response. If you've done good work on the book you'll receive great responses at which point you can discreetly mention that you have actually written a book on the topic.
You're also going to start auto-submitting your website to search engines & other sites to gain link popularity. Submit manually to search engines such as google and yahoo but you can also signup a free account with http://www.worldwidepromoter.com/which submits to top worldwide search engines and directories as well as Country-specific search engines. It also submits to 4.3 Million FFA (Free For All) link pages, over 149325 Classified Ads sites and over 22760 Message Boards. Start submitting your site on a daily basis without fail.
You can also use Pay Per Click advertising to drive visitors to your site (see day 20-22).
In future days you will continue to do the above - soon, you'll start to see orders for your product coming in. That's it - from tomorrow we're going to start looking at earning an income selling products that are already made with websites that are already set-up. It isn't easy but it requires far less effort than what we have just gone through with creating our own info products.
Earning An Income Through Affiliate Income & Resale Rights
Day 20 - 24
Creating info-products from scratch isn't for everybody. If you'd much rather sell something that is already set-up for you with sales pages and websites all included then selling eBooks with resale rights are perfect for you. While it sounds perfect for the lazy person it's important to remember that other people will also be selling the same products with the same adverts too so there are advantages to creating your own products even if it seems more difficult at first.
All that said, it's perfectly possible to make a good amount of cash selling through resale rights or by becoming an affiliate for a product. When you do this being able to market the product profitably is very important.
We will look at being affiliates first - go to http://www.clickbank.com and start browsing through the various affiliate programs available for you to market. Typically all you have to do is signup with an affiliate program you like the look of and then concentrate on getting traffic to their site. Everytime someone you send makes a sale, you will get a commission for it - typically 50% but some affiliate programs offer more (and some less). In order for you to get concentrated and targeted traffic to your affiliate site you may need to use pay per click programs such as https://adwords.google.co.uk/select/ This will also be helpful in getting targeted traffic for your own products but be careful when bidding - it can get expensive very quickly and you want to ensure that your sales are far greater than your PPC costs. There are several other PPC programs but some are not particularly good - and others such as Overture have a minimum bid which is too high. Search google for "pay per click review" and see what the industry experts are saying about the best pay per click options. The next way of earning an income is by gaining resale rights to popular eBooks and selling them yourself via websites and auction sites. This can lead to an excellent further source of income which many people could tap into if only they knew how easy it is.
